Amalgam is a large collection of early audio experiments created by mystified, mostly during the year 2006. Granulated synthesis, strange looping techniques, shortwave, AM radio, household objects, and other techniques and sources were used. These works were all slated for release, but due to technical, financial, or other reasons, most tracks were never successfully introduced. Some of these are quite primitive, while more are like complete songs. Thomas of mystified would like to encourage musicians to use sounds they like from "Amalgam" in their own compositions (providing due credit, of course). Others are welcome simply to listen, possibly while giggling, screaming, or shaking their heads.
