Wyn Evans of the UK brings us this mysterious and concise self-titled EP. Taking a minimalist approach Aeron builds an ambient atmosphere of layered synths that kindle a peaceful energy. Punctuated by punchy kicks the EP resonates with poetic tones that thread myths through its sonic verses. Wyn says they are inspired from the natural beauty of the Aeron valley which he quotes the poet Dylan Thomas describing as 'the most precious place in the world'. The songs seek to capture serenity, changing seasons, and the passing of time. Beneath the surface there is reflection, hopes and fears, but its the beauty which prevails.
