Pinksilver Podcast 18 is brought to you Berlin-based Italian artist, Hubble.
Hubble has been at the forefront of the sardinian club-scene for more than 10 years. His work has spanned genres from pure house music and eletronic in the -90′s, to minimal-techno and free psichedelia (with world-music influences) in the new millennium til today.
In 2003 and 2004 moving to Ibiza an being resident dj at the Loop music laboratory (famous in town for the special and unique acoustic) he made another step in the long way that brought him to the right place: Berlin.
He lives in Berlin Since 2005 where he produces under the pseudonym of Hubble. He has fronted a number of many underground parties in Berlin and been invited by Margaret Dygas to play at Noon Club der Visionaere’s sundays since 2008. In the same year he also closed the dubstation floor at Fusion festival sharing for six hours the consolle with his friend Dubmode. ‘Unforgettable experience’ he said.
Of special importance was the decision to challenge and release his own parties as triptic a series at Berghain Kantine (’08,’09), it was called “Forget Me Not” which is also the title of his debut album (out in August 2010), released by Pheek ‘s label Archipel.
In 2009 he played in all of Sleep is Commercial parties, which took place in some of most important european clubs as Bar25, Club der Visionaere, Arenaclub, Tape, Watergate…His music is a landmark for the psychedelic groovy sound of the label. Hubble is the evidence of how much the artists involved in SiC are sharing influences in a melting pot family developing a unique style.
