Armed (formerly known as Boris Balkan) offers us the first Rawmatroid Club LP, 8 tracks with the unmistakable style of the Andalusian producer, that sounds like live versions, and listening one after another we draw his own world with sounds, structures and unconventional content. “Intro”, the First track is a clear statement of intent to try to leave no doubt about what we will find in this work. “Nell 77th Street”, is a deep track that breaks through with its melody to “Beyond the Nostalgia”, where (as the title indicates) the sensations evoked are quite different. “Ciberzone Twilights” starts with breaks and plays along the whole track with strokes and percussive silence, to reach in this way certain air of expressive freedom. Meanwhile in “Alhambra” Armed achivied to comunicate, with keystrokes and reverbs, positivism and certain hope, “Craft Dark Moon” built with a continuous voice tricks, is a more lighthearted song, beautiful and elegant in equal measure. The loops, twisted filters and percussive arpeggios of “Between the boards of a pier of Sydney”, inspired by the sea and the boat moorings of the Australian city, marks the beginning of the end of this album, that with “Naphalex”, sounding a little more serious than previous, close the history that Armed tells us this time.
