Straight out of Chicago, prominent producer and sound artist AutoAxon brings us this great musical gem that falls somewhere at the intersection of ambient synthscapes and entrancing sequences. AutoAxon is very versitile and here he gives us a taste of dubstep and downtempo all fused with ambient electronic soundscapes. The tracks that fit in more the dubstep category, AutoAxon embraces mid-tempo sequencing that cascades prettily and progressively, with a deep low end punctuating the crystalline shimmer. What sticks out the most is AutoAxon's ability to make dramatic electronic music, it is paced well and with ever-changing sequences that feel like gentle showers brushing over the listener's body. AutoAxon is careful to intersperse tracks with many random tones and sounds to keep the listener actively involved. It's a strength that prevents the sequencing from getting too repetitive. There is already plans in the works for more music bliss from AutoAxon.
