Lus Antero, uses field recordings to document, preserve and share sound environments of the Beira Serra and Serra da Estrela regions of Portugal. He strives to preserve a collective and accurate sonic memory focused on archiving ambient sounds of nature and village environments and local verbal traditions. Antero's recording work is especially noted for its quality, detail and reflecting the traditional and unique character of the area.
"SW" is a sound composite from the southwest coast of Portugal during the summer season with pure field recordings. The resulting soundscape is casual, calming and includes elements of sea surf, grasshoppers, beach underfoot, swirling tide pools, beachcombers and various insects.
