A very topical release, melophobia has crafted a dark ambient meditation in direct response to the escalating post-earthquake crisis in Japan.
This selection of dark ambient soundscapes was produced over the course of several days, as the artist beheld news stories of the unfolding catastrophe following the great earthquake and resultant tsunami which struck Japan in March of 2011. With each day the scope of the tragedy expanded, as the loss of life, of whole towns, was estimated, and the alarming development of failure in multiple nuclear reactors, threatening further destruction.
