Synth artist [mikra] returns to Webbed Hand with this live recording of a recent performance in Prague.
About: [mikra] from Belarus recently performed live in Prague, dedicating his performance to the victims of a terrorist subway bombing in the city of Minsk on April 11, 2011. The performance was part of the "Gothic Park" festival, and took place at the Club "BIOS" on April 23.
"It pains me to write these lines, and to realize that such things occur to our people in this country. For many years under a dictatorship, we were already prepared for anything, but not to explosions which take the lives of peaceful, innocent citizens. All have been used to the scant salaries and the high cost of housing and goods, all have been used to living in fear, used to thoughts of hopelessness under the incumbent powers, used to lawlessness and police brutality... ...and then an explosion in the underground [subway] ...in rush hour. And it is clear (even to our friends in neighboring countries) whose hand is behind this business. But this changes nothing, practically, and that is terrible.
