Just in time for the beginning of this year’s autumn, the Biotop Label drops some Caribbean flavored beats and welcomes an amazingly talented artist. Gabriel Creole is well known for his tasteful productions and remixes for labels such as Regular, Yellow Tail, Puzzle Traxx and Tanzbar. Gabriel has already collaborated with Patrick Zigon on his “Collabo EP” on Puzzle Traxx. After a long break the close friends finally met again at Traumraum Studio to take some „Zeit fr Klang“ (german for „time for sound“) and to put their friendship, passion & creativity into some fresh music.
Gabriel Creole is a truly rhythm master. He likes to play rhythm-guitar, and performs a special kind of beatboxing, which strongly reminds us of his African roots. Gabriel and Patrick recorded his beatbox, guitar, and vocal skills, into two deep tech-house-tunes. Both tracks have the typical organic and human Biotop-mood.
The third track on this EP is a very special one. Recorded years ago by Gabriel Creole himself in a very emotional time, with simple equipment. The result is a unique piece of music, which shows off that you don’t need to have a huge & expensive studio – you only need to have heart and soul to produce outstanding music!
