After his fantastic “Hello Cruel World”-EP, Ucleden now coyly asks “Who’s There?” with his congenial follow-up EP on Broque, just to then show off even more confidently with six new and wonderfully melodic tracks. The Romanian who also goes by his original name Andrei Nedelcu and lives in his homebase Weimar in the sleepy Thuringia, seems to literally burst of all these playful melodies which we can discover on his new EP on top of a solid base of deep techno, electronica, and even subtle garage influences. These are six tracks which invite you to dream as well as to dance. His harmonic sound provides a home for epic and monumental slomo-rave with hands-in-the-air appeal (“What We Are”, “Zoo Il?gico”), playful trance jams (“At Peace”), atmospheric dub techno (“Fear”) as well as the relaxed and grooving endorphin-kicks of “Careful With That Axe”. And, with “Good Things Fall Apart So Better Things Fall Together (Original)” we even meet an old and beloved friend from his recent Broque EP again, which summarises perfectly the uniquely positive vibe of this brilliant EP.
