“Cosmic Lovesongs” is the title of the new EP from Less aka More Spaces, and it fully lives up to its name. The Thuringian-based artist is releasing his next EP on Broque already, next to releases on outlets such as Enliven, and here he tells five enormously intimate love stories, each named after a planet in our solar system. Even more, for the first time in his career he lends his own voice to one of his tracks, the vocoder electro track “Venus” which is coproduced by M2. Apparently, this EP is a personal and intimate matter and manages to be introspective while keeping a universal, well, a “cosmic” perspective. While “Moon” comes along with deep athmospheric Ambient sounds, “Saturn” is the undisputed high-flyer of this EP. Emotional vocals by Paul Stanciu are embedded into deep melodic grooves which guarantee for goose bumps on the dancefloor. The swinging synths of the remixes by Karl Löwenherz and M2 shape up the peaktime qualities of “Saturn” to full perfection. “Cosmic Lovesongs” is an EP which is introverted and outgoing at the same time. We wish a pleasant journey and are looking forward to the next release.
