Omchaki Recordings presents the first in a series of various artist releases called Metatechno, for lesser-known artists producing esoteric experimentations in techno and house. The first installment is a split between American producer The Downgrade Complex and Russian producer ODNK, both fairly new artists that blur the line between dancefloor-ready electronica and abstract glitch, noise, and drone.
The Downgrade Complex presents 2 longer tracks meshing acid techno and lo-fi tape drones, whereas ODNK presents 3 shorter tracks of fractured industrial rhythms and disembodied voices.
